There is a sticky in the texas forum with the texas offroad parks listed. If you want to do some real offroad the Toyota Off-Road folks are going to Hidden Falls the first weekend of October.

 

Why not the park in crosby where a some people went a few weeks ago?

This is just about the closest offroading I have found that you can do with more than 1 or 2 vehicles. There are some areas around clear lake that you could play in, but they arent intended for that, and several vehicles are going to draw attention and possibly police


I am in Friendswood and am interested. If not offroading, we could just meet for wings or drinks or something, but to go 4x4 it is probably better to go to a park. In the next few weeks i will be heading to the Crosby park (sooner/anytime if there is a meetup). Beach is always good too! Fishing, kiting, sunning, and sand throwing!

 

I am going to Crosby too, as soon as I get this lift on...... I am thinking about just paying someone to put it on. Suggestions?

What? Why?. I already offered to help you when I met ya out at Crosby. That's my only suggestion and we had better make a move quick, I've got a baby due in 3 weeks.

 

I dont have the tools, and dont really no what I am doing with suspensions. I have to work the next 2 weekends in a row. I might could sneak it in, the first weekend I get off.
I have some guys I work with wanting to go offroading in 2-3 weeks. I was going to post it here when I know for sure what days we are going. One weekend we plan on going to crosby, and we are also planing a 4x4 trip down to matagorda for an overnight trip.

 

I've got the tools and driveway. Just got to sync up a time, which is the hard part.
