    Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy a stock base Tacoma and have the lift put on after you buy it? For example, if I buy an Access or Double Cab base Tacoma, couldn't I just buy it, then have the lift put on and that be cheaper than paying for a Prerunner? Or am I missing something?

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    a 5 lug is not equal to a prerunner...even with a lift.

    so should i request a 6 lug? and does 6 lug come in all trims or just certain ones?

    well the 5 or 6 lug thread was just being curious as to what the diff in the two were and this thread i am wanting to find out which trim i should get. I want to put a lift on it because i like the look of the lifted tacoma but not the price or gas mileage of the V6 or 4x4 trims :)
