    I am trying to figure out what would be better...

    I'm not convinced about the STS turbo. It just doesn't seem right.

    I'd go Blower over snail though.

    There is a truck in Houston that has the STS kit on his truck. He went through hell trying to get the kit to work right. Even today he's still having troubles with it.

    I would personally recommend the TRD blower. Factory warranty FTW!

    His '05 would be out of warranty period but that is a huge selling point. You do your own work or have the dealer maintain the vehicle? Figure they'll be more willing to work on (and less likely to blame) the TRD product if something breaks.

    i do my own work on the truck but i would have shop put in the supercharger

    I just wanted to say, the option to now choose your truck and only see products that fit it is a BIG improvement on your site.


    And yeah, definately go blower. It seems like turbos are more for sports cars (and diesels) whereas blowers are more for trucks. I'm guessing this is because blowers make torque down low in the revs, whereas turbos you have to wait for boost.

    right you are on the low end torque... makes a big difference from stock.. really cleaned up the sub 3k rpm range...
