    It's a beautiful drive. Definitely worthy.

    Well, close enough! :rolleyes: The answer I was looking for was Silver Gate. :eek: However, that peak is Amphitheater. I should have said "...anyone EXCEPT LISA". :p Yelly is like your second home.

    Is there anywhere in or near the park you have not explored? Maybe you'll show me some of those secret spots someday. :proposetoast:

    Welp, I just got back from a trip to Fairy Lake and I'm sort of pissed. Now I know that the FS allows for open range grazing in the summer but since when do they allow the cattle into the campgrounds? I mean there's a cattle guard at the entrance to the camp so I'm guessing that's to keep the cattle out But the area is not fenced in. The footpath that goes around the lake is all torn up, the outlet stream (right next to the sign talking about preserving cutthroat habitat) is all torn up and the campsites in the trees on the northeast side of the lake are covered in shit. Instead of having a peaceful afternoon at the lake I spent the time dodging cowshit in the path and listening to MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO echo off of the mountainside.
    I'm guessing that the campsites on the northeast shore are going to be gone next year and the FS reasoning will be 'because people were tearing up the land'.

    Most likely yes. There has been a lot of areas closed around here due to overuse etc so I'm thinking that the FS is just looking for any excuse.
