How is I put X gallons in to replace the gas that I drove Y miles with, which means I got Z mps less precise?

MPG depends on several factors such as driving habits, tires, fuel (especially ethanol mixed gas), roads, traffic, highway/city, payload/towing, weather, stopping in drive-thru, etc... I average over 20 on the highway going 5 or so over the speed limit and I average under 18 in the city. If there is a magic bullet that improves my mpg by 5 then I'd like to know about it. Just added a tonneau cover and I averaged 22.5 on 2 mostly highway tanks. Took the tonneau off to haul some stuff and I averaged 18.5 on the next tank. My mpg's have steadily improved as my truck has been getting older for some reason.

Then you play some Ace of Spades and the fucking shoes come off.

Second that hits my speakers I'm automatically doing an extra 10+ over. Can't help it.

Actually the OP is getting all that "great" gas Mileage by drafting the vehicle in front that is trying to stay within the speed limits.

The left lane is not the 10 over Speed limit lane, The last guy that rode my ass in the left lane ended up "off roading" in the median after I "thought" I saw some road gator and hit the brakes.......

.I won;t tolerate asshatts that want me to to get the ticket. If I cannot pull into the right lane they had better get ready for a pucker moment of their day, Most of the time the speeders just pass on the right.

Tailgating me to force me over the speed limit will get them some off road time. I watched a guy scrape a concrete barrier once. I have the "maneuver" worked out like a charm.

Maintain speed, drop a gear or two... Slam the brakes and immediately accelerate hard and watch all the fun and games in the rear view mirror.

DO NOT tailgate me......Not fun for you.

Great way to arrange a couple of funerals. You are making a bad situation worse. If you think this is fun, you are a very sick and ignorant person.

That's idiotic, grow up. People like you cause accidents that kill innocent people, including children. Just ignore the tailgater and move over safely when possible.

I can see slowing down, but slamming on the brakes doesnt just effect the tailgater, it effects everyone on the road in that area. It's a douchebag maneuver IMO.

I don't have rear mud flaps and my fenders are cut for high clearance. If people tail gate me, I drive on the shoulder, kicking up rocks and dirt. They normally get the point.

BTW, I drive 10 over on the freeway and I get about 22MPG.
