My dog is the little black one barking up at a California Gray Fox. She is next to Walker Hound Dog. My dog is a kinda rare breed of dog out of the south called a Stephens Stock Cur. She is 33 lbs. She is a hunting dog and trails and trees: Foxes, Bobcats, Raccoons, and Bear. She is 11 years old now and probably will retire from hunting next year. Awesome dog.

Maybe a little bit Blue Heeler? They are very smart dogs if it is.

I'd bet Australian Shepherd. That blue merle color is common. They are also good smart dogs. Hard to tell when they are this young. I wouldn't rule out a Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog - esp if the ears start to stand up. My ACD cross is great, but would not give his breed a reputation for extreme intelligence. I'm guessing whatever he was crossed with was a big, goofy, dumbish dog.

Collies and Catahoula's can have that blue merle color as well (I think). Not sure of many other breeds where you see that much.

    Nice looking pup.

Not a real common breed in my part of the country. My brother has a mix that looks mostly like a ridgeback - including the ridge. Great running dogs, I'm told.

Yeah - that's right. Forgot that one. There are probably some others - but it's not a common thing among dogs in general.

Is your white boxer Deaf? I love white boxers. They are beautiful, but typically have lots of health issues.

This is one of the better pics of Elliott. He has a severe under bite. With his tongue hanging out, it isn't as noticeable.

here is the full under bite exposed.

Nope, he can hear fine, when he wants to! :D Aside from the non AKC recognized white, he is a great looking boxer. And so far so good on health issues, just having some protective issues. A little hard to deal with. It's tough cause he is such a great dog, but does NOT like strangers. Stays out of trouble when left alone, never has "accidents", switched shifts at work and no trouble with the transition to be home alone all day, etc....
