    7 Mile Rim is really scenic. There's a spot where you can stop at Uranium Arch that's really cool, and then there's a little side trip where you can go see the Monitor and Merimac buttes. You can also do wipeout hill from 7 mile rim. There's also a cool hike near the end that goes through a little tunnel thing that's actually a gap between two enormous rocks.

    Like folks said, watch out for cryptobiotic soil when you're hiking and driving. That stuff is a micro organism that holds the dusty soil together and protects against wind erosion. It takes a reaaaally long time to grow back too, which is why it's no bueno to disturb. It looks like black / dark gray crusty top soil on the red dirt, and it's crunchy.

    if u want hard theres pritchet canyon, my buddy at work rolled 6 times in a crawler on 40s there. should test that jeep out ha.... also moab rim and britney spears can get hairy at times. moderate trials:
    green day, kanes creek, poison spider... hells revenge has the escalader.... and potato salad hill is on the way to hells and fins....
    do ur research on u tube, get a trail book and explore. AND MOST OF ALL....... BE PREPARED TO GO BACK:D CANT DO EVERYTHING U WANT TO IN ONE TRIP:eek:

    Yeah... apparently it's the big thing all the environmentalists talk about when they're trying to get the wheeling shut down out there. If someone sees tire tracks through it, or footprints, they almost always report the incident, and it's more fuel for having a great natural area shut down for those of us who want to enjoy it.

    I know what you mean though, when they told us at the driver's meeting, I was like, "what the huh? you can't walk on the dirt?"
