That front 'tie down' looks like an afterthought... I'm glad to see they finally added them but they would be more effective if they were lower in my opinion.

The thing below it is a secondary air injection pump, long story shot, emissions. They have had them on the v8's for a while, the 2012 tacoma is the first tacoma with it. Not a big fan of it myself, we had a lot of problems with them on 4.7L's, 5.7L's, and the 4.6L's. Very expinsive parts to replace to, that pump right there is about $1500.

Above and left, kind of looks like a battery tender for auto shows, but I'm not sure...

With the optional rubber floor I am not sure you necessarily need Weathertechs anymore....

I'd take the steering wheel. Maybe the radio. Jesus, Toyota, throw the FJ/4 Runner motor at 2012 at least!

Is this still a 2nd gen or is this a third gen? The only changes look to be in the front and interior

i kinda like the front end depending on the color combo. the blue one looks a lot better than the silver one. with the front end a little more squared you can get a hint of where the 3rd gen taco is going.

The 1977 Toyota pickup in my sig pic had one of those...except it was belt driven.
