My Torch is junk. All of my previous Blackberrys have been solid. I don't know anyone that is happy with their Torch.

I came from an iPhone 2G, and now I'm on a Blackberry Bold 9780. That's an upgrade. It's a great phone, very reliable and the battery life is amazing. Unlike my iPhone which I had to charge twice a day, my BlackBerry can go on for almost 2 days on one charge. Texting is amazing, it's nice to have a physical keyboard. I do miss the bigger screen though. Imo BlackBerrys were made for E-Mail/Texting and alike, and it's something these phones do really well, but not so much anywhere else.

Next up is definitely Android. The reason why I didn't choose Android when I got the 9780 was at the time, Dual-Core Android powered phones were still rumoured and nVidia's Tegra chipset was only speculation too.

Motorola Quantico ftw! Its old school; not a smart phone. But, it does everything it is supposed to do really well. Also its waterproof, dustproof, and damn near indestructable! Depends on your lifestyle though.

haha i used to have a tracfone and i was working underneath my Jeep one evening. I had the phone in my breast pocket and it went off and startled me and i hit my head hard on something under the Jeep and grabbed that phone, threw it out from under the Jeep got out, grabbed the sledgehammer and went to town on it. When i was done their was not a piece of it left bigger than the nail on my pinky.

I got the Casio G'zone Commando, it's an Android phone, and I am in love with it. It is a little slow but compared to my last Blackberry it is awesome. Plus you can do about anything to it and it comes out in perfect condition every time. [IMG]

I like BB's for texting but there apps are just too lacking. My Droid X was being a bitch so I switched back to my Blackberry Tour for a couple months and forgot how crappy the apps were I felt like I was wasting money having a data plan since I wasn't using it for anything really. Hopefully fixed what was wrong with the Droid and am giving it a try again. I hate Apple and have refused to get an iphone but may end up going that route depending on what the iphone 5 is like.

Rid your self of your Droid and get another phone maybe? or Root it maybe you'll get better performance. Granted there is a root out for it now...

What exactly is wrong with your droid? Maybe I can help.

OR Switch to T-Mobile, the LG G2X is a beautiful Android phone :). It has a Dual Core Processor + nVidia's Tegra Graphics.

Do not go back to Apple please! They make great computers I love them, but their phones is basically the same thing since 2007 but with a few tweaks in hardware and software each time. At least Android Handsets are diverse. Blackberry is similar to apple, but they need to step up their game because they're really no serious competition for Android or Apple in the consumer market. Maybe in the corporate world...

haha. that sucks. i have an iphone 4 on Verizon. love it. before i had env touch never could brake the damn thing! dropped it in 5” of mud and water. still worked fine for a year. ran it over with a 1250 pound rhino and ran it over with my dirt bike. before that i had an orange env. same think it went swimming one day went in a mud hole too. and got throne at a brick wall and my bed room wall. (put a mark in my bed room wall and still worked) got i miss that phone! i did have three orange env’s but not because of stuff i did. one time it would not text with out turning off. and one time the mic to call went out and the last was it just stopped working.

and im going to get the water shock proof case for the iphone.
