    Is the steering wheel on the 05-11 telescoping? Is this a new feature on the 2012s?

    I forgot to mention I love the feel of the new steering wheel. I dont like the feel of the current 4 runners interior and I was worried it was going to be more like that. The steering wheel on the 2012 has a perfect feel to it for me.

    The steering wheel looks identical to the 4Runner's to me... lol. Both my 08 and '10 only go up/down not telescopic.. though it's in the right position for me anyway.

    Telescoping steering wheel WooHoo!!! Upgrade!

    It wasnt so much the steering wheel, but the positioning of it with the rest of the dash. I felt so claustrophobic in the 4 runner.

    My '11 has a telescopic steering column. It doesnt go out nearly as much as my Audi A4 did though.

    TRD super charger, TRD cold air intake, and exhaust. Downey coil overs coming soon
    After seeing the new 12's. I decided on buying an 11' DCSB. I just got it back tonight after having the Super Charger, TRD intake and exhaust installed.

    I waited to see what the new trucks looked like and I think the newer trucks have too much a Rav 4 look to them. The interior looks the same for the most part. Steering wheel, stereo, and coloring is different. I am not a fan of black carpet, or vinyle. My 87' 2wd had vinyle floor coverings. Your paying way more for this truck running vinyle floor coverings than I did in 87'. No matter what if your getting a new truck congrats to you. I am sure you will be as happy with it as I am with mine. Everybody tastes are different. That is why body styles change.

    Ok,

    1. The 4x4 is NOT illuminated..:(
    2. The "chrome clad" rims seem like some kind of hub cap that can be taken off.. I will try in the morning.. It might actually look cool when the "chrome" is taken off...
    3. This this really does look better in person. I didn't like the way it looked when I first saw pics of it floating around.. but now I love it..
    4. I'm only telling you guys this to share and learn (what forums are for) not so you guys can call me a dip shit for spending as much as I did on a midsize truck.. that being said, sticker was $35,405. I paid 33,800 (before tax/license) out the door hurt.. like 36K after all applicable taxes, etc.. and I spent a little extra on top for 125k mile warranty.
