How 'bout that Crimson Tide? 38-14 on that ass! Roll Tide, baby! I'm in several pick'em pools... I picked Bama to win in all of them, but the ONE that's against the spread, I picked Arkansas to cover. So much for that! Our defense is BEASTLY. La State's is good too, but I'd put our D up against anybody else in the country. I can't wait until the bengal tigers visit Bryant-Denny.


There's still 8:52 to go in the 3rd quarter, but La State is taking care of WVU like all SEC fans knew they would. The Mountaineers are making a bit of a drive here, but it won't be enough. Hide your couches. (Seriously, why do you guys light fires???)


What happened to FSU? I thought they were BACK, BABY?!?!? Now they've lost two in a row? Sure, one was to the #1 team in the country, but then to auburn North? Congrats to Clemson, though. Roll Dabo Roll. Proud of the Bama Boy.

 

I almost picked Clemson........... But then I figured what's the odds they would have 2 big wins in a row.

 

Yeah... I picked the 'noles in every pool I'm in. DOH!

 

Seriously. He went from one of the best in the nation to hitting less than 50% so far this year. What happened there?

 

WVU is tryin to make this a ball game! LSU will stilll pull it out, though.

 

La State leads WVU by just 6 now... I'm slathering my foot with BBQ sauce in case I end up shoving it down my own throat soon.


For the record, I hope La State (SEC) wins, but I won't feel bad AT ALL, if they lose. I will feel bad for all of the poor, innocent sofas that'll die a horrible death after the game, though.


EDIT: Nevermind... 99 yard kickoff return by La State. Washing off the foot again.

 

I blame the f'king '7 Nation Army' song that WVU broke out just before that kickoff. I'm ready for that whole trend to end.

 

I'm not sure why EVERY school has adopted that song. I'm tired of it.

 

Is anybody else sick of Urban Meyer? He does great at Florida, wins 2 championships, then his team slips a bit and suddenly he has 'health problems' and needs to spend time with his family.

As it turns out, 'spending time with family' means 'attention-whoring himself all over ESPN.' Just admit that you couldn't do shit w/o Timmy Terrific, Urban, and you quit. It wasn't about your health. It wasn't about your family. It was about the fact that you were a (quite brilliant) flash in the pan, and you couldn't hack it when things got tough.

 

A co-worker of mine said he listened to a radio show and there was talk about him being close with Greg McGarrity (UGA'a AD that was with UF) and how he has close ties with him and how he didn't get along with the new AD at UF. There was speculation that if UGA cans Richt that he would be our guy.

 

I see him goin to the NFL...maybe Denver with Teblow if they cant win with Fox.

 

La State is piling on, now... WVU fans might burn down the whole town.
