Well I was cleaning out my truck yesterday and in the process I opened up my rear sliding window. When I did the weather stripping on the side of the glass pulled out of place. Then it got all twisted around twice as bad in there when I closed the window to fix it. I got the stuff straightened out. Is anybody else havin this problem? Its an 07 access cab

Mine did that the first time I opened the window. Dealership had a glass company come in and replace the window.

it shouldn't take more than an hour and a half to change out a back window, and most of that is setting/curing time.

I have not had this happen but there looks to be dry rot on the outside top of the weatherstrip- I am out of warranty so I know the day is coming when I'll be replacing mine... with a one piece back glass, anybody ever even use the sliding part??

I never use it since I can't reach it while driving. I wish it was powered or a solid rear.

If its out of warranty, see what the local glass shop would charge? I'm sure its a hell of a lot cheaper than the stealership!
