Best Coilovers

Yea im looking for the smoothest on road coilovers. But i still want them to perform offroad. Ive herd icons are really stiff, and foxes to unless going over bumps fast. I havent herd much about the camburgs/king/. I really dont want billies or ome.

 

I think Kings are suppose to be great for slow crawling kinds of stuff. Huge favorite among the owners.

Yea, ive looked at some sway aways but i havent seen any tacos with them

I've heard they have rust issues...no personal experience though. Kings are a sure win!

No matter what tho man, your gonna love em unless you can afford to really try them all. It'll be a big upgrade from what you have now.

Kings are not worth the extra money you pay for the name, shocks are shocks (so to speak). When you get into high end like King, Fox, Icon...most of the time its which color or name you like better. Fox or King use the progressive valving so chose a color (Fox will save you some money). Icon on the other hand valves their products a little differently. Ends up what the us is going to be.

 

I dont really care about color, and the guy at downsouth says they could be different colors for 100$.
I think blue is good enough and it sounds like kings are gonna be pretty sweet.

 

They all cost about the same. I dont know why everyone thinks King is more expensive. Icons with resi's cost more than Kings. Get Kings with DSM and that is pretty much the cheapest

 

I have icons. Yes they are stiff on road but not a bad ride. If you search, i hear that icons are smoother at high speeds where kings are smoother at lower speeds. I love my icons but basically pick a color

 

Yea im gonna be at slower speeds, im not really got be a rally racer or lt so im not gonna be goin fast. Thats what my other trucks for

 

they all cost the same, in the end it will be so close it wont matter. Icons are digressive, saws rust and are progressive, foxes and kings are progressive. The softest rides at slow speeds will be saws foxes and kings.

 

Foxes are 1890- remote resevoir , and it comes with total chaos ucas
Then the kings are 1030+ 730 for total chaos ucas or 530 for camburg ucas

So kings are actually a little cheaper

The best on road ride will be King or Fox, Icons are a little more comfortable offroad, especially at speed.

Personally I'm an Icon fan, but really, pick a color. The Big Three are all excellent quality.

All shocks can work great,You have to set them up for what you are doing and the wt of the truck (spare tire in bed/ft winch bumper/ect.)Fox and king are top of the line and have great people to help you tune them for you truck or SUV.they both want some money for ther shocks but king bumped there heads on there valving shims
