I would look hard at Certified Used Toyotas... You can get 2.9% financing as well as the 100,000 drivetrain warranty...

if i were you i would greatly consider buying it, but press them hard on including a warranty deal or something... I bought my 07 in march with 21xxx miles on it for $24.5k, it took some work, and a few days of negotiations, but they threw in a 7yr 100k from my date of purchase in with it. the economy sucks, who knows, you might be able to get what u want, i did.

Did you buy yours from a Toyota Dealership?

The truck he's looking at is at a used car dealer. I doubt they can offer the same thing as a T dealer.

I bought it at a Mazda dealership. I was getting a recall repaired on my Mazda, and spotted my truck on their lot. while waiting, I looked at it, drove it, car faxed it, and that is where the initial deal began. They had my truck listed on their lot at 27.9k, I feel pretty damn good about my purchase, however, again, I think it all depends on how much business they are getting, and the economy. I bought my truck right after the Japan tsunami, and it wiped out the Mazda factory, so they were desperate to sell something.

Sorry man I think I would haggle them or look at a new one, MSRP on my 2011 DC Sport was 33, I talked them to 27 and they gave me the 120k B2B warranty for $250. Out the door I paid 29k.

seems alittle high for a used one of 13000 miles but the truck looks great, talk them down a bit?

Not far from new, but most dealerships near me offer 0% for 60 months for a brand new truck, probably a better deal

You asked what people think and I told you. Sounds like you are sold on it, so buy it. Just saying that I think it is a shit load of money for a used car or truck. If you get a good warranty that is covered by toyota then it may be worth your troubles. Personally I find the used prices on these trucks to be on the ridiculous scale. It used to be that the car dropped 1/4 of it's value the day you drove it out of the lot.

I am not the original poster. I am just a new guy who is also looking at 05+ trucks. I am finding that a new QCSB is about $35K out the door I am a used buyer since I have cash so playing with a dealer only to pay 9% tax thanks to AZ fucked up economy.

I completely agree with the used car prices on these trucks though.
