    Yeah it cuts power to the box in the back and all emergency lighting and siren. It's a master switch in the center console where all the switches and siren are located.

    I feel like we were better off when we were under the composite state board of medical examiners than dept of community health. Everyone of the dept's think they can do a better job but it just seems to be more bs everytime they move us under someone else. The first 8 yrs were great before someone got a bright idea. Just like the national registry bs. The state wonders why they don't have any money......quit outsourcing every Damn thing and giving the money to someone else!!!! Ok off my soapbox. :)

    Primary Care Paramedic, in BC. Equivalent to EMT/EMT-A everywhere else, for the most part... I think... BLS, at least.

    IVs of Normal Saline and D10W, IV Thiamine and Narcan, SC Glucagon Narcan and Epi, Ventolin, Nitro and ASA, and Entonox.

    Pretty basic, but it'll do, for now.. And is a big improvement over my current license which is just Nitro/ASA, Glucogel, O2 and Entonox.

    Passed my written! Licensed PCP now. Just need 25 IV starts and I'll be endorsed. Too bad it's been over a year since all of my starts during my practicum, and they're no longer valid. Bah! Oh well!
