I opted for the 2011 over the 2012 due to what I think is better looks and a lower price. 12's are not bad looking though. If the 12's had the newer 4.0L engine I would say they are worth the extra money. I hope to pick up a first gen project truck someday....those were extra sweet looking.

I love the 2nd body style out of all of them but I love the fact that you can do so much with the 2nd gen front ends.

Hated the 2012 at first but it's starting to grow on me. I haven't seen it in person which is supposed to look better.

2012 looks much better, finally looks aggressive and not like a girly truck but I like the older models also. Just like the more aggressive look on the 12

I would agree with that if they had redesigned the body lines.

The front end just doesn't match the rest of the truck as it sits right now.

Either way, the 2012's are badass looking and the interior is a big leap for them.

I can't wait to see what the next redesign brings. :D

I think the older ones look better, but it's change and it's going to take getting used to. Maybe then. Too soon.

I also think the interior is more important for me, I don't see the outside much when i'm driving.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
I still prefer the early 2nd gens, but I saw one on the road the other day. Looks a lot better than the pics do justice, early 2nd gens look tougher though.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
The dash inside the 2012 looks better, but outside, the older model.

This one looks like it lost a fight and got clobbered in the nose.

I think the 2012 would look bad ass if you put a new low pro plate bumper on it

    Just my opinion

Most likely yes. The same thing happen to 1gen Tacomas. in 2001 1gen got face lift and people started swapping fronts. Personally I like original 1gen front. After a facelift in 2001 it looked weird and out of place.
