Probably the last Uwharrie meet of the year before it closes for the winter. Here's the stats:

When: November 18th (Friday Night Camping), 19th, 20th.

Camping: Yates Place campground. (It's free. Be prepared to shit in a pit toilet. If you bring women, make sure they're prepared to shit in a pit toilet)

Who: Whomever. The more capable your truck, the more fun you will have. If there is enough attendance to split in to groups, there may be "easy", "medium", and "hard" runs. To clarify: By "whomever", I mean there are trails here for everyone. Stock 2wd all the way up to axle-swapped 4x4s, there are things to play on for everyone. There are bypasses around all the difficult obstacles, so you as the driver can make Uwharrie as hard or easy as you want it.

Cost: $5 or $6 (I can't remember) for a day pass, per vehicle. No extra cost for passengers, price is per-vehicle. Season passes are $30, but remember the park closes Dec 15 to April 4 every year for trail maintenance.

What to Bring: Camping gear, your truck, basic recovery gear (strap, hi-lift) and basic repair gear (spare tire, hand tools). Campfire food is a good idea, beverages are up to you.

How To Get There: This is the Eldorado Outpost: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Eldor...022097&sspn=0.05894,0.066433&vpsrc=0&t=m&z=13

We will be meeting at the Outpost at 9AM Saturday morning. This'll give everyone time to air down, grab some breakfast, gas up, etc.

To Get To Yates Place From The Outpost: Head south on 109 from the Outpost. You will see a sign on your right after about 3 to 4 miles directing you to make a right turn (the sign is labeled Yates Place). Signs will direct you to the campground from this point.

COORDINATES FOR YATE'S PLACE IF YOU HAVE GPS:
    N 35°21.908'
    W079°59.347'

Here's a Map of the Trail System:
Printing it and bringing it with you is a good idea.

Just got a new handy dandy tent today for my birthday. And I'll be fully armored by then as well

See the Yates place directions above. I can get you GPS coordinates sometime between now and then, but you might have to wait a couple weeks.

Theoretically. If you're ordering bumpers from any of the smaller fabs, they may not be ready by then.

I wouldn't. If you want a fast "off the shelf" front bumper, go with ARB. Who's skids you going with?

Pretty true...bumpers aren't really necessary for URE. Rear more helpful than front.

Meh, fuck polls, you always end up with 1/4th of the people that say yes in the poll actually showing up. Names or bust.
