Go to a local metal production shop and ask if they have any perforated metal. Then do the satoshi and get that metal powdercoated pretty cheap. I've got about 40 bucks in my grill.

Gee whiz fella, that's a toughie. Satoshi's are nice, but you got a real looker there already. I'd have to have a hard talk with myself if I was gonna dump an already nice grill for a grill that would look just as good but a little different.

nothing, all stock expect got a OE replacement air filter K&N.

i have the same grille as the op does. i never knew that it belong to the 2wd tacoma. until a member on here told me that its 2wd grille and not a 4wd grille. i'm planning to take what i have on now and get the 4wd grille.

I think the 4wd grille would be better satoshi'ed because its more square. The 2wd grille has those little "horns" on the upper corners that make it look a little funny.

I was wondering why your 97 grill looked a bit different than my 97..

    FYI...
From a guy who is working on a satoshi for this model year, the 4wd version is a lot easier than the 2wd version...
The design on TH 4wd is much more satoshi friendly.

cool thanks guys i will order the 4wd grille and get to work!!! i also want to add my nickname at the bottom right corner. Like how some trucks have the TOYOTA emblem in the middle of the grill i want to do that but with my nickname. Does anyone know of a good place to get letters that would look kinda 3D (i dont just want flat stickers)???
