Anyone have these wheels? Level 8 Strike 6 or ZX

Looking to see if anyone has the Level 8 Strike 6 or Level 8 ZX on a first gen tacoma.
These wheels are available from Discount Tire Direct. the Backspacing says -6 so I am not sure if they will work.

I found some nice pics of the Level 8 ZX (on a jeep). I really think they look nice. They come with the chrome trim ring or a black trim ring.
I found some pics of the wheels on a frontier but decided that it was not cool enough of a vehicle to post on this site.

 

What is the width of the rims? What size tire do you plan on running?

-6 is the offset not the backspacing.

I have used that exact chart so much that I have basically inadvertently memorized it

The wheels are 16X8.5 with a -6 offset which equates to a 4.5 backspacing (according to the chart provided above).


Will a 4.5 backspacing work?

 

That depends on what tire size you want to run. It will work for 265/75/16, but nothing more than that.
4.5" backspacing is stock on 1st gens.

I know you asked about a first gen. I have the Strike 6 on sec gen, 16x8 with a 265/75. they only rub when full locked out turn. If you would like I can get better pic when I get home.

 

So this wheel would not fit with a 285 or a 33" tire?

Would the offset have to be +0?

 

For a first gen, it would have to be around -25 or so.

Really? That's the stock backspacing. I'm surprised you don't rub at full lock or when flexing.

I'm not surprised because you have a 2nd gen. I'm just surprised that it's not an issue with the first gen though.
