    Hey Guys,

I've got a situation I want some input on from the TW crowd.

My parents have a rental house that I moved into after my second year of college. They said I was welcome to live there myself but the "Rent was too damn high" for me to live there myself. However, once the rent was split three ways it was a very sweet deal.

So, when I was in college, I had a few friends live with me and I didn't think another thing about it.

Now, I ended up getting a job in the same town I went to college in and this still proves to be the best spot for me to live. However, I'm still not making enough money to cover the rent myself so I've been renting out the other rooms to random craigslist people as long as they are around my age.

It had gone perfectly until these current two moved in. The guy is crossfit fanatic, paleo-diet, weird ass dude. Doesn't seem to have any friends and the people he does have over may just be gay. (Nothing I normally have a problem with, but when its in my own house I can't help but feel uncomfortable).

The chick sits in the living room and watches my tv at least 12 hours a day and has a boyfriend who would probably qualify as the top 5 WOW players of all time if you know what I mean.

Okay, RANT OVER. My question for you guys after reading all that - has anyone ever figured out a way to get a roommate to leave? Anyone have contract law experience? I've read our lease with these two at least 10 times trying to find something I could use to terminate their lease but its all too petty at this point.

I want these two people gone. Otherwise I have to deal with them until June of 2012. :(

And I might add, I'm only home about 4 hours a day (when awake) during the week and gone all weekend long at my GF's or somewhere else. This is how annoying these people are even with my lack of time here.

If you are renting it, and your name is on the lease and their names aren't, boot them out. And screen the next ones...

No, I act as my parents "agent" in return for a little cheaper rent than a normal tenant would. So I don't have a lease, just a personal commitment to my parents. The roommates have a 12 month lease with no opt out option for either party unless terms of the lease are broken by the tenant.

My brother has a roommate that never showers, lives on the computer, and eats nothing but poptarts and hot pockets. I've seen it first hand and I would probably shoot myself before I lived with him in the same dorm.

Raise the rent.... blame your parents. If they agree that's more money for your truck!
Make the arguement that since you are never there, they should pay more of the bills...

I'm slowly doing that. He keeps changing shit like he thinks he's the ultimate cook so he must "own" the kitchen. He wanted to change out all my bulbs for the super white fluorescent ones. (Seriously, laboratory white). Most recent thing was moving the trash can onto the carpet outside our tiny ass kitchen. I moved it back to where it's been for the 3 years I've lived here and worked fine before he moved in. It just goes on and on.

So you (or the leaser) don't have the right to break the contract for no reason...sucky.

It all makes sense now, thanks for the clarification!
