As a rule of thumb I always make sure and use 4x4 every month. I start out in 4X low locked into 1st gear and run about 50 yards through each gear up to 4th then stop and do the same for 4X high.

I never use it on pavement even when going strait - way to many things can go wrong.

Now I just need to get my sister on board with taking her Sequoya into the woods and using her 4x.

I finished installing the starter this morning, what a piece of cake took less than 30 minutes to install! Since it was so easy to install and I had the drivers side tire off I figured I'd try and tackle the body mount chop I've been putting off. I must say it went allot better than I thought. I used a grinder and some wet rags to protect things from the sparks. I'm glad I finally did it cause I once again can turn the wheel all the way with no rubbing. The only thing I'm going to have to do is to take it somewhere that can weld a metal plate on. I don't have a welder other wise I'd try it myself. I'll upload some pictures once I get to my computer, I'm not sure how to do it from my iPhone.

Here are some pictures of the body mount chop. Remember I am by no means a professional and did the best I could. What do you guys think?

Really, I've read so many mixed reviews on here stating that even with UCA they still hand rubbing problems and some stated that it was even worse with UCA. My next purchase will be suspension and I think I'm going to do UCA and Dakar leaf springs. I'm just nit sure if I want to do CO or just 5100's and a new coil spring. I like the Ultimate Lift Kit but don't want or need all the products so I just might part together a lift.

theres lots of factors, Backspacing/wheel width/offset, tire width... i have 285/70/17s..(like a 32.7x11.8 or somethin?) the only trimming i had to do was the front/bottom part of te wheel liner.

You never even had your truck in Wharton:(. Rex didn't even get his wheels wet when we went.

I'm going to the Phantoms game. It's a Friday night game that should be cheap = great tailgate. A couple of my friends are going and John (jdmcq) is coming as well.

The Flyers tickets will sell out in minutes and be totally overpriced IMO. If standard face value tickets are $155 no way in hell am I spending $300+ for hockey tickets unless it's a playoff game. I'm to poor for that + we all know who is going to win anyway.

I would not even think about wearing a Rangers Jersey to that game. Your asking for a mob beating. Philly sports fans kill an opposing teams fan every year.
