Thank you but I would go with the new Kimber 9. I have 3 .45's PX4, CX4, Kimber Covert 2, Glock 21, Ithaca 1911. Ok that's 5, glock's makes a great gun they hold lots of rounds. #1 a freind of mine shop was held up he 3 guy's he riped off 10 rounds of 9MM one hit the front guy. He took about 2 minutes to bleed out. The other two shot out the buzzer door gone. Now he has a DX .45. When I said get a Kimber he told me he wanted something that held more than 8 rounds. I think if you can't take your target down in 8 go to the range. Botttom line why carry a 9 when you can have a .45.

    Check out my sig...
So you're saying that you can't drop in a ghost connector into your G-whatever or lighter or heavier springs into your 1911 since its an alteration? As a CA resident you're not allowed to PURCHASE an off-list pistol except as I noted previously (PPT or single shot exempt). However, once you own the pistol you may convert it to whatever configuration as long as you don't do any illegal modifications (ie. auto pistol, stock, fore grip etc). The single shot sled is only required to SELL the pistol in CA to non-LEO, a non-LEO may, however, own and use a semi-automatic AR pistol.

Why go all the way to Atlantic Firearms?
Noveske AR Pistol from Riflegear - they also have sig, spikes, and others.
Another - from EBR Works in Ventura County:
Purchase one of our California compliant, single shot AR pistols for $725 plus tax/DROS. Once the transfer is complete and you take possession of the pistol, we will buy back your new, unfired complete upper & 0 rd sled for $365, cash. You now have a brand new, California legal, complete AR pistol lower and you can legally buy as many short barreled AR uppers as you desire for use with your pistol lower! [IMG]

You can do the transaction at our location or we will ship to your dealer.

Shipping and insurance is $25 to your dealer. You will be responsible for shipping the upper & sled back to us. The upper must be returned unfired and undamaged for you to receive the $365 buyback.
(As stated by EBR - you must purchase a COMPLETE single-shot exempt AR pistol but you may then sell the single-shot exempt components - sled and upper - back to the original seller or keep for your personal use. As for a Gen 4 you would then sell or return the sled and extended barrel)

Single shot exempt FNP-45 w/ >6" barrel: thread here - read if you like

    3 suggestions:
    1. Start PMing me so we can stop threadjacking (although OP's getting a TON of free bumps)
    2. Create a new thread about your questions in the gun section
    or
    3. Join calguns.net and learn... Thats what Im still doing!

Sorry when I first saw this I thought the 26 was the .40 but that's the 27. Still an awesome deal for anyone looking for a 9mm. Was hoping to scoop this up as my Springfield Champion needs to go back to Springfield for some work and this would have been a great fill in carry weapon while it was gone.

Sorry I cant go that low on a Gen 4. Dealer price (what I pay for them) is $480 + shipping. The Gen 3 pistols (probably what you were looking at) are $440 dealer cost.

That said, I am willing to lose money on this to get rid of it. But im not desperate enough to lose $50 on it. Who knows, in the future the value may go up and I make money on it.
