Whelp as the title explains i killed my first deer of the year this season but it wasnt as planned...about a 200 lb doe ran out in front of me saturday night around 1 am and messed up my front bumper, Black magic hella (1), and my freshly painted satoshi grill....but after bad things comes the good :D went ahead and bit the bullet on a new tube bumper and also will have have my skid plate coming shortly!

Heres some pics starting with the deer:

Ended up not getting the TG low pro :spy: you'll have to wait and see:D and the skids wont be ready for another month or so but it will look hella sweet paired up with the bumper!

actually no i didnt but someone did come and get it after a uick phone call...i has no room left in the freezer:(

Sure thing, you know they'll be up in my build!

yea, only thing i would think would be wrong with it is the rib cage shattered into all the vitals thus killing it instantly but i dont see a reason to waste it..

Thanks man, i am perfectly fine and actually it didnt really bother me when i happend i just got out and drug the bitch off the road, checked out the damage and went on home lol then worked the nxt day tearing everything off and buying new goodies :)

Sounds good man, just comeon out...i still gotta finish the bedlining project as well so you can help me do that too!

    Glad nothing serious happened.

I slammed one just last week. Luckily my plate bumper from ELITE showed the deer the road is no playground. All I got out of it was a hairy and bloody bumper that washed right off.

Why did I assume this was gonna be about hitting a deer judging by the title? :D

But damn you truck held up great after hitting it, I hit a deer 2 years ago doing 55 and got 1300 in damages

Me either :D it will only be the second one on this site that i know about but ive seen a few people on ttora bragging about it so hopefully it will turn out good!

Yea really there wasnt any damage besides the hella and bent up weak stock bumper everything else was fine and i was able to salvage on hella so now ill just have 3 once i get the new set! & i was probably doing around 45 when i hit er but i figured it would be pointless to involve insurance because I live in a high deer population area..and i woulda had to pay about the same as the bumper cost me anyway before insurance woulda kicked in so o well ill just do it myself :)
