That's unacceptable.... I'll get into it...

EDIT... The link seems to work fine to me. The link on page 2 of this thread took me to the cheap/free mods page. I went down to #92, and that link brought me back to the first post in this thread. Which link are you having trouble with?

Can't find any other thread that has anything on this, but...

Any of you guys that have done this develop a clever anti-theft system for the clamps and the flag?

I was thinking drilling a hole in the flag's base and running a cord through all three components and then to the tie down hook below it and add in a key lock. Just my thought.

    Anybody got a better idea?

I'd just put them in the truck when I left the truck for any decent amount of time. I leave them in if I'm running into a store, but they definitely come off during the games.

I haven't seen/heard of anybody making a security device for them, though.

I did something similar with my car flags during the NHL postseason, though I secured them to the bed cleats using a few plastic zip ties for peace of mind.

Yep...and there's nothing in sc code of laws concerning the flying of a flag that I can find...unless it's called something other than a flag

Only "flag" keyword returns are for hauling loads and towing

For anybody with Access Covers (not sure which models will be the same) but mine is the Loredo if I remember correctly and the team flags that go in the windows fit perfectly onto the rail for the Velcro so I just drilled a couple small holes and ran some sheet metal screws in. Easy and not going anywhere. I didn't take pics of the install since I didn't know I'd be posting about it. But it even works with the cover, just bunches it up a little at the flag post. Oh and I did this because if having the window visors and can't run the flags as intended.

First gen but found plastic brackets for roof racks. Susceptible to theft but with vent visors, windows aren't an option
