I dropped my truck off at the shop this morning so they could install my new throw out bearing from PDM and the stage III clutch kit from URD. Im crossing my fingers that there wont be anything wrong with the transmission when they open it. My truck is a 06 and it has 82k miles right now and my TO bearing just started chirping at 80k miles. What possible scenario that could be wrong with the trans?

What is the difference between the factory clutch and the URD stage 3? My 06 has DC/OR has the towing pkg and I pull a 4200# + travel trailer regularly. Should I upgrade? Would I feel the difference? How so?

Stage III is really grippy. Like, really grippy. I've heard people describe their clutch as an on/off switch after the upgrade as it grabs so hard.

Cant answer your questions yet. But check out URD clutch kits or CCI competition clutch stage IV kit if you tow a lot.

Hello, I too have a 2006 manual tacoma with 75K miles, and I am experiencing the chirping/whining noise. I was wondering where/ how you purchased the PDM throw out bearing kit, because that seems to be the best option. Also, has the PDM successfully eliminated the noise so far? In regards to the stage III clutch kit from URD: did you get this due to the chirping noise or was it just to upgrade the clutch?
