    Been retired for 7+ years.
    Spend a lot of time with my two local grandsons, 7 1/2 & 9.
    They think the Tacoma is "awesome".

    Yes, Tacoma's are not just for the young ones, nor are they for many Illinoisans. They are few and far between here. Definitely F150 territory.

    I look forward to following the thread, and occasionally interjecting a comment.

    We have a lot of Tacoma's in the Wash DC area. My excab is a great truck. Does everything I ask it to do and looks good doing it.

    At first I was kind of miffed that I could not find one with a SR5 package but after a short while I realized that by having a basic build I was free to customize it in the way I wanted. I only have two options that I still need to add, power mirrors and cruise control. I am in no hurray to do either. ;)

    Being in my 60's i was looking to add chrome 5 spoke wheels. I went with gun metal and glad I did. Looks a lot smoother without the chrome. And I am a chrome kind of guy. A product of the 1960's LOL

    But having the grands close - priceless. My taco takes me to mine once a year.

    There are BUNCHES of Tacoma's here - both the first gen and second gen.
