Not flaming when I ask this, but why did you get the URD MAF Calibrator anyway? Planning on bigger performance mods down the road or something?

    Just curious.

Yeah I plan on getting headers and possibly a CAI instead of the stock box with AFE Pro dry. Plus I read good thing from other users who only had a pro dry s and exhaust.

    Ok - that's what I figured.

I would just wait and see what URD says. Definitely post that up, as this will probably come in handy down the road for somebody else.

^Will do. Gonna see if i can get my truck back today and will then remove the URD MAF to see what happens. I imagine i just need to resolder the ecu wires together?

    I would call URD first.

Cutting and resoldering would be my last option if it were me.

Did you get your truck back from the dealership?

No the service tech had left and by that time no one knew for sure if they had disconnected anything and didnt want me take it just in case the techs had left something unplugged.

I did just speak with the dealership and they are going to remove the MAF and reconnect the ECU wires for $50. Then their going to test everything again.

I'm surprised they are even willing to do that.

Let us know what they say!

Ok so the dealership removed the MAF and reconnected the ecu wires. No more issues so far. They drove it ~30miles and i put another ~20 on so far. Not sure if my wiring job was the problem or if the MAF is faulty or needs a different map. Wanna try again but will use the harness for sure

No i just used the stock map, which was for a stock Tacoma. When i order my headers I plan on ordering the harness and reinstalling as well as tuning the MAF to my trucks setup
