Maybe it's just me but does anybody else notice that Ford is churning out some of the best looking American made U.S. sold cars? I mean take the new Taurus, it may be the same thing as the MKS which runs off the Volvo S80 chassis but I think it just looks really good. Aside from the Ford Interceptor concept rear end, it is a stunning car.

Then you have the new F-150, its huge, it's comfortable, and (IMO) the best looking F-150 to date.

Ford even pulled a few tricks out of its hat for the new Mustang, which is pretty damn nice too.

Maybe it's just that I'm a Ford guy form the start but I've been hearing a lot of good praise going towards Ford lately. Motor Trend had an article this month that said how they were the best off financially along with the release of the new Taurus.
idk, maybe it's just my state of mind but they seem to be doing just about everything right...finally.
I mean somebody has to show the automakers what it's all about, so why not Ford?

I'm going to reserve judgment on Ford until the F-100 comes out to replace the Ranger.

Nice looking car. No WAY the production version will look like that.

some of this, a little of that
x2, when I see a production version I will make up my mind. The Chevy Volt looked good as a concept car too, then I saw the production model threw up in my mouth a little.

I'm happy with my 2006 Ford diesel. It's a hell of a lot of truck and was a great deal too.

It says a lot when I can buy a $43,000 truck used for thousands less than the same-year Tacomas go for.

to be honest i like the previous F-150s not very crazy about the new ones

Remember when Ford named the Taurus the "500" to make it sound sporty

Really the only things that i like and are worthy are their Trucks

x2 But just think about the price tag. But I garuntee you that if Ford actually makes the Raptor, then Toyota will build something that will blow the Raptors doors off

What you dont see in those pics of the Ford Raptor, is all the parts that fell off and are littering the trail.

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Here's what I don't like about a lot of the new Ford and GM products. They look nice, but most are built off of other platforms with a hodge-podge of components thrown together from other manufactures, and in many cases are built in other countries. Like the Fusion, which is based on a Mazda platform with an engine that has an Indian Made crank ( Tata motors) and its put together in Mexico. Way to go Ford- make it as un-American as possible. The same goes for the majority of their lineup.

But... if I were in the market for a full size truck, the F-150 would probably be at the top of my list. Hell of a nice truck and all the trade magazines LOVE it. The Tundra actually gets rather poor marks for the same reasons Domestic trucks used to: Cheap, plasticy, poor handling.
