Went there. Missed it by a couple hours they said. That was kind of a weird place. The guys were just standing outside waiting for someone to come in.

Im gonna try that next week when I have some free time.

You're very right on the bold part...like tacoma enthusiast debadging or blacking out their emblems..or satoshi or painted lower valence..very common.

    Have fun Mike :drunk:

    That's a little weird lol

Ever have one of those days when it came to mods? Today I tried to relocate my trailer hitch plug. Got the correct size drill bit, drilled the holes, and found out that the stock bolt is now too short to use. So I've got to find another bolt with the same threads. Sure hope Lowes or Home Depot has one.

I think it looks pretty sweet...

How do you like that plastic dip stuff? I want to to my stock steelies. I know it peels off, but how easily? I don't want it to peel prematurely... especially with all the rain and what not we get up here...

    Awesome! thanks for the help!

Sorry they're already peeling on ya!

I think I'm going to do my emblems as well... either a matte black or like a really burnt orange... my truck is black. What do you think about the matte black on it? would it even be worth it in your opinion?

I've done my emblems, lower valance and the grille now. So far nothing has peeled. The emblems and lower valance have been through a couple washes so far and nothing has peeled. I did put around 5 coats on each though.

I have it in the same spot but not turned like yours. Im gonna see if I can keep the one hole that is drilled for the bolt and just rotate the unit like that

So I just tried rotating into that position. The holes won't line up. Im gonna try and find a bolt tomorrow

Yeah, it was nerve racking to drill into the chrome, now I just have to finish it. I am only using 1 bolt to hold in on for now.
