Planning on getting some 17" and was wanting to get some 275 70 but not sure if itll rub. What is a good tire size. Or should i just stick with 16" rims

imho stick with 16"s the price difference in the same size tire with a 17" rim is rediculous but thats just me

I am sure happy with my Hankook Dynapro ATms (265/75-16, 1" taller than stock no rub)... 10,000 miles on them now.

You won't be sorry! They work great in sand, mud, snow, and quiet on the highway... plus they look good, too!

What about you gas mileage, did it drop or stay the same. Nice looking tire. Looking to get new tires can the 265 replace the stock 245?

There's not enough bandwidth for what's happening.
I had Hankooks on my 95 ... awesome tires. They are going on my '05 as soon as I can make an excuse to replace the Yokohamas that are still in good condition.

You won't rub with 265s. Lot's of tires out there. Do some research.

    cooper ST
    BFG AT
    geolanders
    duratracs
    revos
    falkens
    terra grappler
    BFG silent armor
    BFG rugged TERRAIN

Check out treadwright tires! I would have run em but I needed tires in a hurry and they were backordered in the size I needed.

Discount or americas tire usually has very competitive pricing. I've had decent service there as well.

A 235/85/16 is a good choice as well if you're looking for something skinnier and just as tall. Probably get a bit better MPG than 265s. They're also very common (common fleet and work truck size) so should be readily available for a few dollars cheaper than 265s.

Yes you can replace stock size with 265 with no lift. Optionally 235/85/16s are a great and more than likely cheaper choice. They will more than likely do better in snow and ice (on the road) than the equivalent tire in a 265.

235s don't get the love they deserve around here.

I thought you would want them to be wider for snow and ice. Im a noob so any info is a big plus. I also do as much reading as possible but i prefer real world drivers than them critics.

Off road you want flotation to stay on top. On road you want to dig to the bottom for traction.

So... off road you want wide, large tires. On road narrow tires will out perform wide in snow. Google it if you're not sure.
