Can you guys tell me what mod needs to be done to our tacoma per certain water depth?

    For example:

Stock tacoma can safely travel through X inches of water.

Diff Breather mod can allow you to safely travel through X inches of water.

Snorkel mod can allow you to travel through X inches of water.

    Thanks for the help.

Well there is no mathematical equation for it. All depends on how it splashes up in your intake, constant momentum will reduce the chance of getting water in the cab,

    General rule:

If you can't walk across it, Don't Drive across it!

I've had water above the hood touching the windshield, side windows, and mirrors. I will never do it again I got water all over the inside of my door. It ruined my speakers shorted out anything that was connected to the radio in some way. Water started seeping into my cab and got some of the carpet wet. I'm luck it didn't hydro lock on me as the entire intake was surely under water for about 10 seconds maybe more. Never cross water if you don't know how deep it is. And for me I won't go above the rocker panels.

Water that high can cause serious problems not just engine wise but in electrical and other components. Enough speed though & if you don't get stuck you'd be fine:cool:

Not saying it can't be done, just more likely to run into problem and such.
