2009 Black Matte TRD

I have been looking for the 07 fj cruiser black matte rims to put on my 09 tacoma with poor results. From every dealer that i have contacted here in Mass.-you need a vin# plus extra info-they wont sell them. I have tried withgetting my hands on the vin# of someone else's-no luck. However someone mentioned there is a 09 black matte rims availible. Any truth to this???or where they are availible? How about some photos? I found one guy who would sell the 07 trd trail black matte w/out being an FJ trail owner for $400 each without shipping. OUCH$$$$I have been searching ebay and craigslist for months...

FJ Special Edition wheels are hard to come by -- I'll sell you my anthracite ones for 1 million dollars though...

 

i have them on my truck, and i bought them from the dealer where i bought my truck. no vin# needed. Must have gotten lucky.

Edit: I belive there are at least two others with them on here as well, may want to ask how they got their's.

This is just a thought but do you still have the invoice from buying the rims from the Dealer? It would have the part # he needs. That way he could walk in slap the # on the counter and say "5 of these please".

 

I don't care about shipping cost-if someone can point me to a dealer who will sell them without questions I will buy them tomorrow. I can't believe Toyota won't sell me Toyota rims

I heard that there made in a really private factory and they only make them when a person from Toyota is there to make sure their doing it right..

Of course it could be all BS

 

I heard that too, I was told the shop was in Tibet. Each wheel is blessed by the toyota gods.

Just put FJ as your vehicle and look at the tires/wheel section. looks like they are going for less than $150. they would look good on your truck and would make most FJ owners jealous!

 

still no luck-those websites will only sell to trail teams edition owners WTF!!I have been emailing toyota dealers all over this country that I have seen on this forum..hopefully someone will sell them or at least contact me.This is crazy.
