Out of curiosity, what's your all-time favorite weapon to fire? and/OR, what was the "coolest" thing you've ever shot?

If this is a repost..well......... :sandwich:

Personally, the "coolest" thing I've ever fired was a FBI issue- 10mm MP-5. Sucker was feisty, and I've never seen a 2shot burst on anything else.

Fav. to shoot is my M1 though. If you can see it, you can shoot it.

Favorite to shoot would be my .50 cal when I was a gunner for 2 years including a deployment to Iraq. Most fun? Still my trusty .50.

    +1

I only got to play with one during training at the range. Best thing I have ever fired easily, loved watching the tracers and walking the rounds towards the targets. I don't know if it is still in use but the MK 19 was fun too.

My favorite is the M16 on steroids!! I love the weight of it in my hands, and the "sense of power" it give you. Especially when firing!

But the coolest thing I have ever shot is the M198 Howitzer, and one of the coolest things I have had the chance of repairing as well.

These ain't my pics but, an M198 is an M198, music to my ears! and oooh the smell of those powder charges going off, the dust coming off the ground around the gun when it goes off!

    Primed, white on WHITE,

    STAND BY...FIRE!!!

you pull the lanyard, and feel like a fucking badass.
