Yep batteries ordered. I was a bit late on those so they said delivery should be tues-wed (closer to east coast). Again don't consider your trial period began until you get the batteries and can actually try the beast out!

    Generally...

Once you turn it on, you can have the light head-tight or head-loose.

To switch between modes on head-tight you just loosen the head a 1/4 turn and immediately tighten it again. I think there are two modes on this "Line" initially.

To switch to the head loose "line" just loosen the head 1/4 turn and leave it loose. In a second it will switch. Then same thing, tighten then loosen to switch between head-loose modes.

    Really simple to use.

Now there are a billion more options you can program in. You can add or remove modes to each line, you can change the order, you can change how fast the blinking is! Change damn near anything.

There is the full manual. It is written by someone who's first language was NOT English. But it isn't bad.

Remember for the batteries, you get ONE set to use for free (on me). If you kill them and want more, you will have to go pick them up. They are called CR123A's and can be expensive locally but some shopping around should be able to find em for 2-4$ per battery.

They are about $1 per battery online. You need two in the light. If you decide to buy a light just order a charger and 1-2 18650 lithium rechargables which will give you longer brighter runtime. The ones I sent are just two batteries shrink wrapped together.

I've pre-programmed the lights for you for 2xCR123 batteries too. If you get a light it will come by default programmed for an 18650.

Anyways as I said, use one set of shrink wrapped batteries, and ship the rest off with the light.

Your one week begins today! I'll be PMing you the names and addresses of the people next on the list.

    Enjoy guys!

    That's right exactly.

Slower shipping is fine, it just has to be some kind of registered mail so you know they got it. Other than that cheap as possible is fine.

Sure, let's make monday the day then. That would give everyone the weekend to play with it. That means the week starts today now.

Remember guys just one set of batteries though to be fair to the rest of the participants.

    Enjoy!

Got it yesterday and tested it out in the boonies. So far I am pretty impressed with the output. I am thinking about buying one but they may be a little pricey.

Has anyone tested the run time yet?
