    Yes, but don't forget that the front end has some differences;
    1) More weight (unless you're carrying a load),
    2) More complexity,
    3) Steering (you can steer with the back locked on dry pavement by slipping the inside back wheel, but not with the front locked).

#2 is particularly important, you're looking at steering here, you're looking at CV joints... there's already enough mention on this forum about front ends coming apart prematurely just with lifts. Imagine how easy things would blow if you're stressing the crap out of it.

The really nice thing about the BRAKE approach (i.e., TRAC), is that it accomplishes virtually the same thing while still allowing slip, so it doesn't stress everything out.

Lockers are definitely a very specialized component, useful in several situations that "normal" people will never encounter. Certain offroading conditions, possibly hard work in deep snow (like pulling a trailer through a foot of snow). It is more efficient in that it won't be constantly hammering on your brakes, but as far as FUNCTION goes, brakes can accomplish the same thing. I believe that A-TRAC and rear locker can function simultaneously. This is essentially front-locked without breaking things.

The problem with a factory vehicle configured for so-called "off-road", is that you won't just attract the competent frequent offroaders (who understand how things work and that they're responsible for breaking things when they go too far..), you'll also attract the "bro's" who just think its *cool* to have an offroad truck. These people will do stupid things (like 4wd locked front and back when it starts to drizzle out), parts will break, and Toyota will either cover them at their expense, or suffer bad press [, or both]... as in the "raptor run" where all those "offroad" F150's ended up with bent frames when all those bro's hit a 2-foot bump at 60. I'm no fan of Ford, but that wasn't a design defect, those trucks were bro'd to death.

So yes, I absolutely agree that a front locker could come in handy from time to time, but it'll never be put there due to the potential to be incorrectly used. I wouldn't be too surprised if even the rear locker vanished soon given what A-TRAC can do....

I like the front end. Interior looks great. About time they make a 'leveled' truck. The shocks are a big improvement over standard Taco shocks. Overall I think it's a cool package; i'd never buy it, but it's cool.

The decal is a bit much tho.

The more I look at it, the more cartoonish this thing looks!

Would anyone truly not feel like a tool with those graphics? Anyone?

That Baja graphic is horrible! Guess they're trying to one up the Raptor graphic.

Not a bad looking truck at all, but Toyota is too reserved in their appearance redesigns on the 2012 Camry & Tacoma IMO...

Why I got to be a part of this? LOL

I love the front end. I would get the Headlights (BHLM RETRO FIT), Grille, & Hood and LT my truck w/the KR Fab Prerunner bumper. That shit would be insane. One mean ass TACO

The rest of it can go to hell. . .

HOwever I just saw the video, the Shocks and Springs are nice but TOYOTA will way over charge it. You can upgrade your suspension to mine if you buy a stock SR5 or even TRD Sport/Off-Road and have money left over. My suspension would eat up that BAJA one. ITs a BAJA Truck, why the Chrome? Matte or Satin black the grille and bumper! That would tie in the BAJA decal better.

Fuck a BAJA Decal to make it stand out. Toyota needed to make a Limited color with small BAJA Badges like the FJ Trail Team of Special Edition to make it stand out. No need for a over done decal thats just nasty!

Use a nice Satin Dark Grey or perhaps a Pearl White. Satin True Black? Even that SEMA Flat Green would be sick! I mean fuck. . . Make it really stand out. They do better with the SEMA stuff than the actual production packages.
Its a small step in the right direction.
