Howdy! Seems my truck has 3" block lift in the rear, and 2"strut spacers on the front! Iput on my new winch and bumper, and seems like I'm gonna need to get higher up front? Need atleast 3-4" more, Any ideas????
    Cheers:confused:

My first idea would be to rip all of that junk out and do it right. Spacer lifts are not desirable and you won't find many people that are happy with them.

Some answers to the following questions will help a ton...

What do you use your truck for?
    What is your budget?
What size tires are you running/do you want to run?

If you already have a 2" strut spacer and want to go up another 3-4", you need a drop bracket lift (like a Fabtech or ProComp 6" lift). You can't put a 6" suspension lift on the front of a Tacoma, you'll tear up your CV joints and wear through CV boots very quickly.

Fink is right though, ditch the spacers and blocks, the ride will be much better and it will be much more functional.

I use my truck for the outdoors a lot, hunting, fishing, etc. I have 33" Duratracs on, and don't want to spend a ton, so I'm looking for different options??

I'd save your money and get a better suspension lift when you can. Dumping more money into trying to fix a cheap spacer lift isn't really money well spent.

New lift coils would be a better solution than what you have now but you can't go up to 5" of lift in the front without further modification. 2.5" of lift is about all you can do without needing additional parts. Once you push 3" of lift up front you'll need new UCA's to get proper alignment and if you keep going you need to do something to drop the front differential otherwise your CV angles will be terrible.

Something like the Old Man Emu struts and 886 coils would be good for your situation. They're much heavier coils so you can get around 3" of lift even with your heavy front bumper and winch.

Just wondering again, would a 6" Fabtech dirt logic adjustable coil/strut be way too high for my issue??

I guess I don't understand what the purpose of having such a tall truck is? I know you said you would your winch bumper on and you were going to need more lift...but compensating for the extra weigh, and lifting the truck six inches seem to be on opposite sides of the spectrum.

Dude, did you read my post? You can't just throw on a 6" lift coil without doing a bunch more work. You'd need the complete 6" drop bracket lift for that set-up otherwise you'll have serious issues with your CV joints and boots.

I'd just get some Bilstein 5100 shocks and Old Man Emu 886 springs for the front and a toytec 2" Add A Leaf for the rear and ditch that block...

that'd handle your bumper up front just fine...might have to look into some new upper control arms for proper alignment purposes

I've heard nitrochargers are better paired with 886's than 5100's. I'm not sure how much truth their is to it, just what I've read on here but I agree that it'd be the way to go

You know what? Now that I think about it I think I heard that too. I got he 885s and i'm running a tubed bumper and I have no sagging at all. I'm about right at 3". The ride is awesome!

Sometimes I wish I had gone with OME rather than Eibach :pout: On the backroads the Eibachs are great, no truck roll, very stiff so cornering is nice but in the city, some softer coils would be nice (or maybe I need a plate bumper to settle them down a bit :D)
