For what it's worth... It's cool, but I would rather get my own lift for other purposes. Right direction is true.

what we dont want to see any more of is people posting pics or info of the 2012 that they think they are revealing to the world for the first time, but we have been talking about for ages now. It clutters up the website. I remember seeing some new threads with the same info that we right next to each other.

Build threads shouldnt be a problem or photos . individual topics shouldnt be a problem either.

They are just proud new owners. I think anybody that buys a new one will want to show it off. Shouldn't matter if it's 2012 or 2011, they are proud and want to show it off.

I wouldn't worry about it man - you should be able to negotiate the shit out of the dealer on your trade.

Toyota's hold value like no other vehicle on the market, in my experience.

I got almost exactly was NADA listed for my 2007 with 48k miles on it when I traded it in back in August of 2010.

No clue about the newer ones, but you won't find a truck/car that holds it's value more than a Toyota.

I was at Bob Bridge Toyota today and they had quite a bit of 2012's out there. I like the side mirror and the center stack dash with the screen and that's about it.

Just checked out the 2012; new front end looks very tough, interior changes such as steering wheel and media system are nice features as well. However, not worth trading in your 2nd generations for one especially if you have 100k or less. Drive the darn thing into the ground. Thats why I bought a Tacoma in the first place, because they last.

Just waiting for someone to confirm headlight removal and it will go further into the darkside. Already installed Nfab steps and will be putting on Toyota Roof rack next week. BHLM when I find out (maybe retor HIDS) and black rims whenever procomp decides to ramp up production again.

The builder has been fubar for a while now. It's like toyota has been transitioning it from '11 to '12 slowly over the past few weeks and breaking all the internal links in the process. I'm sure it'll be up and running by... the end of the year :p
