Hey for anybody that is getting the BAMF rear Diff Armor if you want to look into having it Powder Coated I can check into a group or volume rate with the guy that PCed my rims. DOT and I will most like be doing this but we might get it cheaper if we have more people. Planning on just basic black unless we all want to call out our TW Tacos with a signature color?? Just no speedway blue. :p I am thinking alien green...:alien:

I know there are opinions that go back and forth on whether or not to spend the money on PC for a skid versus just prime and paint. IMO PC is the toughest primer you will find for a decent price. I plan on getting mine PCed and then as it gets scratched just touch it up with paint. I do this with my PCed sliders and front bumper now and it works great. Never have paint chip or flake off from PC. So is it worth it IMO...yes.

Just let me know so I can get the guy a count.

Is this planned for today or next weekend?

Twin Cone is simple only one obstacle that might need a spot. Just really rocky and bouncy.

Will be up around the Jefferson area off of 285 today taking in the fall color with the family.

Saw a lifted dark blue Tacoma with a cap, racks on top of the cap and a arb front bumper with lights and wench headed down into Aspen this morning. Anyone, I thought it was NYCO for a second but you don't have a cap right?

hey guys just got pointed in this direction in the new member forum. I live over on the west side of denver by high county 4x4. I have a mostly stock black 08 dc off road tacoma. I just got out of a cast for a broken leg and am planning a long term major build. I'm planning on ordering a set of coil-overs from toytec and a bumper from elite with winch. Any of you guys running the toytec's with bumper and winch? Any advice about them?

I am running Toytec Coilovers with factory tops and an ARB Bumper which will be getting a winch soon. I love how they can be cranked up to compensate for the extra weight. Without the winch in right now have them at 2.5 inches. One thing to consider is while you are in there doing the lift also put a good aftermarket UCA on as well. Right now at 2.5 I am at my max to keep the alignment in spec. If I go any higher it falls out of the spec range. So when I get my winch I am also going to have to get UCA's so I can make sure everything gets dialed correctly. Well that and I will probably go with a dual battery set up with a pair of Optima batteries to insure the juice is solid.

Oh and welcome I am down from High Country near old town Littleton if you need a hand. :)

Cool. We ran up 285 to Kenosha Pass( what cluster that area is with people) and then over to Como and Boreaus (sp?) Pass. Came back over Loveland Pass and home. Nice little half day trip. Luckily on Kenosha we ran into my wife's best friend who's parents and brother own a cabin on the twin cone trial route. We hung out with them for a bit in a thick grove of Aspens at their cabin. Nice all around.
