So does anyone know how big of a pain is it to adjust the 5100's once they're mounted to the coils? Thinking if I remove the assembly and slightly compress the coil, I can adjust it that way rather than disassembling it?

Also, figured out why I was getting a bad vibe at high spped from the new/used wheels. Shoulda been obvious from day 1 but my 1/4" wheelspacers I'm using to clear the caliper are not hub-centric. Came up with my own way to hub-center them while putting on the wheel. Didn't have time to test it cause I had a block party but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. If it doesn't work, I might just spring for new/new wheels.lol Now that I have gone as far as the extended studs, I might as well just do it.

    good luck adjusting the 5100s.

why get new wheels when you could just get different spacers?

lol. I'm hoping you'll give me a hand when we get to install the aal.

I can't find hub-centric 1/4" spacers. My Spidertrax kick them out way too far.

I tried that. I think the problem is that the spacers aren't centering on the hub so at 50 mph and above, it's like an egg rolling down the highway. That's the only thing that seems to make sense. Cause I don't remember them vibrating on the way home from Dave's shop with the Spidertrax on. Unfortunately without the spacers, I cannot put the rims on cause I rub the caliper. So I can't remove them to test the theory it's the rims. Or am I wrong that them being not centered by 1/8" would cause the vibration? I dunno but that's what I'm speculating. Thoughts?

I can imagine. I had someone on TW tell me not long ago that with the spring compressor and an air gun I'd be ok. I've got the impact and air compressor so I just need to borrow a spring compressor.

I stick out about 2-1/2" beyond the fender flares and anything sharper than an on/off ramp on the highway and I rub bad.

I wanna raise them. Right now I'm set at .85 to be level. I'm gonna buy Josh's add a leaf and lift the entire truck.
