    Hello all!
    I'm a long time Chevy owner who has finally seen the light. Just got myself an 05 access cab SR5 wich I already like and look forward to learning about. One thing I noticed was that the hub for the cooling fan is pink.:eek: Anyone know the reason behind this odd color choice?

    I have heard that some models come with different color- not sure why. Maybe different fan clutch in some models? Mine is pink too (2009 SR5).

    Not 100% sure this is the case but my truck has the pink hub as well. When I purchased the truck I noticed it and asked the salesman. I was told it has to do with the truck requiring the pink antifreeze.

    One thing I have noticed about this forum compared to a Chevy forum is that in this one, most people discuss maintaining and building their trucks, detailing, and a few minor issues. In the chevy forums, most of the discussion is about transmission problems, serious engine issues, and various other things I hope to never deal with again. :cool:
