REALLY? Little sensitive there buddy? LOL

BTW I don;t have either of those air cooled Yammys, Mine is water cooled and a LONG way from Harley

From the Harley V Twin Forum on the VStar 1300:
1/4 Mile Time and Speed Data from Motorcycle Consumer News.
    (stock bikes)

I think under 12 for a 1300 is a little rich..... but under 13 is not. 121 top speed in 1/4 mile vs >100 for most 103s and all baggers. from Time and Speed Data from Motorcycle Consumer News.
    (stock bikes)

Now add some Cobra Slashdowns, a Thunder Air Kit and Cobra open loop EFI2000....and the times get a bit better

OK back to the thread subject..I apologize to the community
But yes the "American Pie" crap does cross over into bikeland.....

what kind of person buys a Chevy Colorado? I mean I live in red neck country and rarely see one of them. I see far more old F150s with rebel decal flags..and Rangers.

Apologies to anyone reading this for going off topic but...My 95" blows past 120 MPH (TS is actually 147 with current setup) and btw those slashdowns are robbing power so you most likely back to stock in performance dept. BTW I love those Arlen Ness addons - sweet ;)

There's this one guy in my class. His name is XXX. XXX is a typical "good ole boy" who drives a Ford F-250 diesel. One day, he saw my ride and started talking trash about how I should buy a real truck, how I should buy an American truck, and that his truck is faster than mine.

He started to shut his mouth after I told him my Taco was built in Fremont, CA by American workers. A counter-argument is usually thrown back at me but I end it by saying "I'm a Marine, I can drive whatever the fuck I want. I volunteered to serve in the Marines during a time of war. I'm more American than you'll ever be." The look on his face is just priceless. lol.

    You're comparing a 3/4 ton/1-ton truck to a compact size truck. It's like comparing a Corolla to a BMW M3.

[IMG] Living in Texas I don't get as much shit as I would when I lived in Michigan (The rust belt) Actually there a tons of toyotas here. The only one that gives me crap is my lead singer who drives an S-10 "FIGURES". His guitars and amps are all imported! My LUDWIG drums...made in Chicago USA, my Zildjian Cymbals, Made in USA, My Hammond.....Chicago, Leslie speaker......USA, Anvil cases? You guessed it USA. My Taco...Mexico. If FORD GM & Chrysler removed only the imported parts they would be driving shells around. How funny is that?
