With you on the white letters. Soo I guess that make me weird too. If you guys don't mind me asking, how much were the tires? I've been quoted lowest at $1040. Just wondering if that's ballpark around what you guys are paying.

My milage dropped when I put DT's on too but that's because my speedometer was finally reading correctly (confirmed with GPS and those roadside speed scanners.)

I have those on my truck, I'll take a pic when I get my coil overs back on if you want to see what they look like.

It all depends on what size you want, on tirerack.com they have a set of 265/75/16 for $696.

Is that the same set that most others have? I know I sound picky, but I want a tire that rides well, has a more aggressive look, will last at least 60-70k miles. And all for the best price.

If you want a tire to go 60-70k, look at BFG A/T's. I would be amazed if anyone got 70k out of duratracs.

Thank you. Now I feel as though I have no hope. Haha. So what do you think the typical mileage will be out of the DT's.

Will the 285 70 r17 fit on the 2011 sport wheels and have no rubbing? Not lifted yet.

they will rub unless you hack the front cab mount and some of the plastic I believe. Oh and the upper control arm too.

Anybody turn in both the $40 GY rebate and the Treadlightly rebate? Just wanted to make sure I could send them both in.

I just bought the ATO truck and its got MTZ on it right now, but they are getting pretty thin, and I live at 7k feet up in the mountains in New Mexico and see quite a bit of snow so I dont think MT tires are the best choice for me, so my research has led me to the Duratracs as they are as close to my old Dunlop radial rover RTs that I have found, I was very happy with those on my Land rover discovery so I think these should be about the same or even better.

Anybody have have any weak sidewall issues that I have read about on the bigger HD trucks? I will be getting 285-75-16 E so I would hope the side wall is a little stronger anyway.

Cant wait to pick up my truck this Wednesday!!

Here are a few shots of my old tires in action.

I claimed the Goodyear rebate first and called about the TreadLightly rebate. I was told that the TreadLightly rebate was run by Goodyear, therefore you can technically only apply for one of the rebates. Someone else out there might know different though. I didn't try to claim them both because I didn't want to have to buy a membership and then get burned on the rebate.
