I finally stretched the legs on the Taco after having done a 3" OME lift and AAL rear. With the help of 4wheeling4banging and friend (sorry, G forgot your avatar name), we hit some trails in Nevada. I was blown away with the capabilities of this truck.

    Steep stuff, no problem
    2ft ruts, no problem
    Rocky creek crossings, no problem

It was such a blast, like being in a rollercoaster except I'm in control.

I still had to learn how to work the 4WD buttons, the DAC, gearing. But once I got it, what a cinch. A couple of times I thought, "No way" when coming to some steep, rocky, rooty stuff but the Taco just shined.

    AWESOME!!

Yes it's official. Gary is no longer an "Off Road Virgin" and also loses his "Mall Crawler" title. Glad you could join us and you're welcome back anytime. So how many lobster did you eat?

    Eh, Randy.

I ate 3 of those rather chewy lobsters. The amp from the trail was way better than the taste of the lobsters. Awesome times on that trail!!

I kept thinking that this would be a great trail to bomb down on the mountain bike too.

In my younger days maybe. Now 4x4 Taco or a quad would be the only way I would do it.

Funny thing. I just noticed your signature quote. We just finished watching, "Back To The Future" a few minutes ago. What a coincidence.

We have the trilogy but haven't watched it a while. I thought that quote was appropriate for a 4x4 Taco. You wouldn't believe where I've taken my 2wd PreTaco. I kept it to haul the firewood I cut in Dog Valley so I wouldn't have to mess up the new one with sappy wood. And now after doing Hunter Lake Trail you know you don't need any roads either.
