bugshield, ventshades, windows tinted 5%, husky floormats, trd seatcovers, nerf bars, truck bed mat, door sill protectors, front trd skidplate and billys all the way around (fronts set on 2.5"), alpine cde-103bt deck with scosche dash kit, upgraded to aftermarket led taillights, trd drop in air filter, toytec 2" aal, trd cat back exhaust, center armrest cover(ebay), silver fj cruiser 6 spoke wheels, and more to come.
My truck is a 2008 access cab tacoma trd, with billy 5100s set at 1.75. I had a 2" toytec aal installed. I made a mistake when ordering the aal, I wanted a 1.5 aal. Now my truck has an unlevel stance, lots of rake. So after reading on here about 5100s, aals, springs etc. im a little confused. I would like to know what would be my best choice to level up my truck. I do appreciate any and all help.

Should I remove the 2" aal and replace it with a 1.5"aal? or...
Should I take a chance and set my front shocks to 2.5 and hope that it rides ok and that I am one of the lucky ones that dont need ucas? or another option would be to set my shocks at .85 and get some eibach springs. Can the tacomaworld community help me decide how to level my truck in the best way. Once again I do thank you all for your help.

best ride would prob be the eibach springs. i wish i had done that instead of the billies. you could also sell you 2" AAL here and buy a 1.5"

i could be wrong, but i think by getting the eibachs you run the risk of needing new ucas. how long have you had the 2" aal on for? sometimes they settly down after a month or two and you might like the look then

Thanks Pudge and SR54X4 for your help. I have had the 2" aal on the truck since spring. I am trying to add a pic so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks again for your help.

I have the 2" toytec aal installed with a 3" spacer up front. stock uca's and toytec said I wouldnt need new ones unless I go higher than 3"

Im sure it added a true 3" of front. If not, then just shy of 3"

Light bar and bumper guard, 3/16 steel skid plates for engine, tranny and transfer box, OME 881 springs with 5100 shocks at mid clip. AAL in rear. Positraction rear diff.
You can either change the 5100s or replace the 2" AAL with a 1.5" or have the 2" heated and take some of the arch out.

I'd say leave it alone - looks like a functional truck. I never got the leveled look/nose high look anyway. Maybe it's a midwest regional thing, but a truck that sags and squats in the back under load is just embarrassing.

most economical option if you can do the labor yourself:

free - change the setting on the bilsteins to top setting and see how you like the ride. if it rides fine to you, get an alignment.

~$79 + shipping - swap out the 2" aal for some 1.5" aal.

~$150 + shipping - leave the 2" aal alone and swap out the stock springs for some eibachs.

I think it looks fine dude. I wouldn't change anything. If you're self conscious about it, get a tool box and put a few 50lb sand bags in it. [IMG]

Thank you all for your help. When i find the time, I will raise my front shocks to 2.5 and see how it goes. If it goes well, I will get an alighment and post a pic and let you all know. If i take the spring upgrade, adjust shocks down, and a realignment, I will post a pic then. Thank you all.
