Yeah, disappointing

 

Disappointing and kinda relieved. I'm busting my ass today trying to get everything done so I can go play at Bridgeport tomorrow. If I had to do this two weekends in a row I'd fall over exhausted come Monday!

 

Might have a 4runner to drive at Tolar then, just have to get Zech to tow it for me with his airbags

 

Hmmm... this could be interesting. I could pick it up the night before and return it the next day maybe. I don't know if I could talk Megan into driving the truck/trailer over there; but I could shuffle it all back and forth easy enough.

Actually - let me make a call and see if I can store my rig next door to the park the night before. She is a big ol' girl so if there is any sort of s3xual favor needed for storage; you're on the hook for that one!

 

Just got the ok... Robert - get that rig going! I can park my rig at her house as long as needed.

 

So is that just STUCK, or riding with Adam improves your chances of getting stuck?

What time you headed to Bridgeport in AM?

 

I'll probably be there in my new Taco. Huge upgrade from the old one. AND IT'S 4X4! With my 35's, I should be good for quite a bit

 

Cool, so we should be up to 4 or 5 rigs now.

 

It is quite in here this morning. I guess more people went to Bridgeport than I thought or they are hungover.

 

I didn't drink enough last night, and just sitting at home.

I worked on the truck a bit on Friday. Got a new battery, installed the cb, and hand throttle. A few small kinks to work out under the hood. But for the most part, ready to go.

 

Unless I can get a transmission put in by te 15th.

 

Today was a blast. I handled the 4x black diamod trails. Very very tight technical stuff, and there was no way in hell I could have done it in a 2WD. Almost rolled my truck leaving the park too. (Don't let your gf drive your truck over 70mph down the park hill.) She lost control and we almost ended up upside-down.

 

Doesn't sound good. Glad y'all had a good time though.

 

Brandon, I still can't believe you had that rig down in those rocks. That rig is awsome!

 

So when and where is this going to be? I didn't see info in the first post...

Time: Park opens at 8:30a; most are getting there by 10a
Where: Rock Trails of Tolar south of Tolar (south of Granbury on 377)
Cost: $32.50 per truck last time I was out there

 

I'll probably stay until at least 4. Try to get home before dark, with the trailer.

 

32.50 is just rediculous... just saying.

 

Preaching to the choir. Just be glad they dropped the $10/passenger fee for 2011, lol

 

How does that place compare to Bridgeport?
