Wouldn't you think that the "new version of th Tacoma," is just the Baja edition? I'm not surprised, I don't think this is new news compared the other recent posts. I don't think they plan on making an entirely ney Tacoma halfway through. I know it's possible, but we have already heard about the Baja to be relased later this year. I'm not worried about it.

Nobody here is saying anything...Toyota just said they were going to have a "new version" of it.

My whole point was I hate the half-gen thing. I will personally wait until they have a fully redesigned truck out before I trade mine in.

I completely agree with you - if it isn't the Baja, it will more than likely just be a different "version" of the 2012's.

Those who are looking to purchase Weather Tech's for your 2012 Tacoma they don't offer them yet.

The Weather Tech floor liners for the 2011 Tacoma won't work with the new retention knobs for the 2012.

Please if you're interested or if you would like to help. Request floor liners for the weather techs through their website: http://www.weathertech.com/service/applicationrequest.aspx

Hopefully if a bunch of us request the new floor liners for 2012 Tacoma they will expedite a new design to work with the factory retention system.

    Would be nice!

Finally saw one at the dealership on Saturday. Looks much better in person...honestly, it doesn't look much different at all. The average person would not notice.

I was kind of nonplussed, frankly.

I think the 2012 was supposed to be the new redesign but with all the delays and problems in Japan they just did a minor redesign for 2012.The 2012s were not supposed to be out until january but they could not make it and decided to make the 2013s the redesign.I think the 2012s will be a short year and early next fall we will finally see the full redesign.

My guess is 2014-2015 as it stands right now Toyota Tacoma is the only real game in town, I don't know total sales numbers but the way things are I don't think Toyota is in any big rush. Maybe Chevrolet hits us with something around that time frame maybe Ford but until then Toyota will sell the same amount redesigned or not.

What exactly does T/X stand for? Anyone else notice the red coils on the Baja?
