If your wheels have 6 lug than a 6 lug on 5.5 pattern will work. When going with a larger tire like a 285...4.5" of backspacing is most common

Well, it's pretty simple. The sports have 17's and the offroads have 16's. So either one of those 2 sizes will work. Just make sure you get the right backspacing as mentioned in a previous post.

You can also refer to this sticky... http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wheels-tires/102992-wheel-backspacing-offset-info.html

OK so I have the sport. Which has 17's. It will allow 16's? The backspacing isnt the issue. I am going with 285's so I will run 4 inch back spacing.
