I have three PIAA lights that I want to put on the front of my truck. I got these lights as a gift and don't have the money to buy a mounting bar. Has anyone had experience drilling and attaching lights to the bumper? Thank you in advanced!

What are they, 540's? I tried to make them fit in the stock fog light location and couldn't quite make them fit. It can be done, PIAA has a kit that places the 540's in the stock fog light location, I just don't have the fabrication skills or patience required to make it work

Other than that, besides drilling into the plastic bumper to mount them, you really don't have any other options besides a light bar.

I'll save you the trouble, if you already have the lights and didn't buy the kit, they won't sell you the kit separately. I already tried and it didn't end well. Their Customer Service (if you can call them that) is less than accomodating in this regard. The kit itself is over $300 I believe. If you really want the kit, the only way you'll get it through PIAA is to buy the complete kit and sell off the set of lights you have but the money you'll lose in the deal you'd be better off buying a light bar.

The lights I have are to big to fit those holes, so I might just drill into the bumper.

I dunno man, that's irreversible damage... You can pick up a light bar for $120 (maybe cheaper if you find one used on here). I know you said you didn't want to spend money on a light bar but it might be worth it not drilling holes in the bumper.

Luckily I work at a body shop and can repair it if I sell it.
