I've fired all kinds of small arms, crew served and anti-tank weapons during my years in the Army and in collecting MILSURPLUS weapons. I've also fired 105mm and 155mm howitzers...but when size and close counts, these two were really a blast to send downrange.

Smith and Wesson .500 Magnum. One of the coolest things to fire. I did the regular one and the performance center one with a 2lb trigger pull.

Shot about everything while I was in group. I'd say the Carl G was pretty fun but I loved my MK47. With it's sighting system, there were never any first round misses.

That's awesome! I'm on my second tour with this pair and I'm going to retire them when we get back. They've seen better days but I just can't bring myself to throw 'em out. They've carried me through a lot of shit.

Me, too. SPent my first 13 years in FA. Started in Hanau Germany where our GDP mission was to provide GS fires to 11th ACR in the Fulda Gap. Their How battery was attached to us to provide DS support.

Worked 8" SP, 155mm Sp, LANCE missiles and 105mm towed. :)

My favorite is the S&W 629 .44 mag with a 8 3/4 in barrel. That thing was a hoot to fire.
