Good video. This BaJa version is basically what everybody does on this site. Bilstein 5100's with a heavy spring, and bilstein rear shocks. Only difference is, you're paying in the mid 30,000 range. You used to be able to buy a TRD Offroad 4x4 AC for about 29,000. By making small changes each year, entune, baja, etc, Toyota will be able to sell the truck at a higher price and people will still buy. Almost makes the Nissan look more attractive in terms of price to what you get ratio as the gab widens further.

If toyota pulled the Baja move before the raptor it would have been pretty original, but still, the baja as well all know, is no match. I dig the wheels, especially the tires and I get what they're trying to do with the graphics but still, the Toyota truck used to be a better deal.

I saw it in person this weekend...I still don't think the front-end flows as well as the original 2nd gens do.

However, it is a badass looking truck and the interior refresh is...well...refreshing.

Doesn't anybody put winches on these trucks? Are the winch bumpers compatible between the 2011's and 2012's? Or would a 4Runner winch work on the Taco? They look similar. Anybody looked into this?

I wonder if they are providing UCAs that are more adjustable OR I wonder what they consider "in spec," for the Baja.

So I got a few of these questions answered by contacting Toyota direct through email's... here is the reply about the seats..
    Mr. sir,

We appreciate your interest in the 2012 Tacoma and apologize for any confusion regarding the availability of power adjustable seats.

"For the 2012 Tacoma, power adjustable seats including a power adjustable lumbar support are not available for any grade or in any option package. While this information is shown both on Toyota.com and in the 2012 Tacoma sales brochure it is incorrect. Please note that the following disclaimer is displayed on both Toyota.com and printed in the sales brochure. "All information presented herein is based on data available at the time of posting/printing, is subject to change without notice and pertains specifically to mainland U.S.A. vehicles only."

Please again accept our apologies for this situation and for the fact that the lack of a vertical seat height adjustment is preventing your wife from comfortably driving the vehicle.

Your email has been documented at our National Headquarters. If we can be of further assistance, please utilize the following link to find a variety of avenues to contact our offices, http://www.toyota.com/help/."

I also contacted customer service for Entune and they said there is no way for an Ipod to be switched from running it on the head unit, to just being able to running the Ipod on its own while still using the USB connection... kinda lame.. They told me a lot of people call and ask the same question with other toyota models also, but they did it that way because of "texting laws" being about the same as using your ipod while driving... My personal feeling is that it is much more easy to crash trying to find songs on that little dash cd player... but whatever... looks like I am going to gut mine right away and go aftermarket...

Now I just have to figure out how to raise the seats in the 12's...

The only thing left I have to figure out is if there are going to be "two" Entune options or not???????

The MSRP on the Sport Leather dropped 2k year on year and they have added Bluetooth and "Trailer Sway Control". Still glad I just bought a 2011 with all the incentives that were going, even though that leaves a little bit of a bad taste ...
